Unique fieldwork practiced ever year by Toa-Dobun-Shoin, Japanese commercial college in Shanghai, 1902-1944. The students in their senior year traveled all over the country to research ad make reports according to each individual's course of study. Their reports described the true state of China, its economy, finance, industry, transportation, population, social system, education, culture etc. and became the source for the famous Chinese topography as [ (Shina Shobetsu Zaenshi)] and [ (Shinshu Shobetsu Zenshi)] |
