The "Nihon Bijutsu" was a monthly magazine published to synchronize the activities of the Nihon Bijutsu-in ( ) which was established by such people as Tenshiin Okakura, Taikan Yokoyama and others. The magazine employed the advanced technology of the photoengraving process to introduce new works of art and was full of valuable articles shedding much light on and vividly describing the dynamic activities of the young artists who devoted themselves to the revolution of traditional arts. |
