We, Yushodo Co., Ltd., have signed the tie up agreement with Maruzen Co., Ltd. and Dai Nippon Printing Co.,Ltd. (DNP) for the development of sales of foreign language books to Japanese market more dynamic and scale up. Yushodo Co., Ltd. have specialized in importing books and information date 77 years, trusted by University libraries and research institutes all over Japan. We would like to announce that Yushodo and Maruzen, who has been another pioneer in foreign books trade in Japan, with the coordination of Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd., with whom we have jointly invested in various areas with strong interests and sense of responsibility for future of public industry in Japan, have officially signed MOU to initiate a business tie-up with regards to purchase and sales effective July 1, 2010. We are committed to bringing our customers quality imported foreign books at cheapest price amidst the multi-lingual, multi-cultural society that we live in today. We are also dedicated to the healthy development of the book market in Japan. As we will set up research team whose objective is to analyze the foreign book market, thereby contributing to the creation of a strong and transparent market in Japan that filled with business opportunities. Yushodo Co., Ltd. and Maruzen Co., Ltd., as independent firms, will continue to serve our customers with as much humility and respects as we always have. We are determined to overcome any challenge that the so-called new era of publication may present to us, as Yushodo Co., Ltd. will continue to deal in antiquarian books, digital archives, legal documents, facsimiles, and Maruzen Co., Ltd. in foreign magazines, textbooks and top level counter sales their own shops.
